Hand laid glass-fibre/Kevlar composite, bonded to the space frame. Bolt-on, flat alloy floor pan. Hinged engine cover, clip-on front panel, tail section removable for full drive-train access. Wheel mounted cycle wings.
Transverse, mid-mounted Audi 1.8-litre turbo, 4-cylinder, 5-valve motor, re-manufactured and tuned from 250bhp to 370bhp (1800cc) or up to 450bhp (1900cc). Water-cooled charge-cooler, twin radiators for engine and charge cooling, Spal cooling fan, ITG air filter. Red Top sealed battery.

Fuel System
Re-chipped Bosch Engine Management System (EMS) with knock sensors. Alternative engine management system for higher power output. Special alloy twin fuel tanks, centrally mounted for added safety, internal tank-mounted high pressure pump, external low pressure scavenge pump with weir system for high speed cornering.

Rear Wheel Drive. Getrag 6-speed manual transmission. Optional limited slip differential. GKN drive shafts.

Standard Audi clutch, hydraulically operated. Optional lightweight flywheel, single plate high performance clutch. Reduced flywheel effect for faster, smoother gear shifts. AP Racing master cylinder.

Front suspension: Double wishbones, Aircraft specification rose jointed, Grinnall designed CNC billet uprights, inboard coil springs over two-way adjustable gas dampers.

Rear suspension: Ultra stiff transverse radius arms mounted on ball joints with top link for camber control. CNC billet uprights, concentric coil springs over two-way adjustable gas dampers.

Front and rear brakes: Hi-Spec billet 4-piston calipers. Lotus 283mm vented discs. Adjustable braking bias via two AP Racing master cylinders. Lever operated instantly adjustable pedal box. Goodridge braided hoses. Mechanical parking brake.

Steering – RHD or LHD
Adjustable formula steering rack, 2.5 turns lock-to-lock. Pinion variants and adjustable mesh engagement. Grinnall alloy sliding steering column running in sealed needle roller bearings. The column is adjustable for height and reach. Momo Racing formula steering wheel with snap release hub. All controls and switch buttons are set in a binnacle arranged around the steering wheel and attached to the column so it moves with the column when adjusted.
