All the company’s original designs are highly evolved, but we listen to our customers and we constantly strive to improve what we do. And so existing customers are not left behind, most of our new developments are designed to be retro-fitable for those wishing to buy them.

Scorpion III-K40
Grinnall Cars are proud to announce the latest development - the Scorpion III-K40. For several months we have been working on a new power-plant installation based on the latest and most powerful BMW engines ever; the BMW K1200S, R and GT drive trains, producing up to and over 167bhp (measured at the rear wheel).

Compared to the in-line 'brick' engine the latest motor is a first for BMW; Japanese style, transversely mounted, with a very low crank-shaft height therefore a much lower centre of gravity. The benefits are increased cornering speed and added safety. It also has a dry sump so oil surge is totally eliminated, and a new fully adjustable steering column proving lighter steering and optional positioning.
